Fruitville Library Art Shows

Art exhibitions at Fruitville Public Library are held on a quarterly basis. Anyone interested in having their artwork displayed may submit artwork to be considered for a future exhibit. Submissions are accepted on a continual basis, and artists will be contacted when they have been selected for a show. The artwork chosen for an exhibition is selected by a committee of four library staff members and one Friends of Fruitville Library member.

Anyone interested in being considered for future shows should provide the Art Committee with digital picture files of the artwork, either by submitting them on a CD or by providing the committee with a link to a website where the files can be viewed.
The Art Committee will need to know the title, dimensions, and medium for each piece that is submitted for consideration. Artwork that is selected for an exhibition must be ready to hang with appropriate wire or attachments when brought to the library. Artists are also encouraged to submit a short biography or statement about their work.
